We looked at several daycares in the Rochester area and chose K-9 Playtime because they love our dog as much as he loves them. Every time we drop Kirby off he’s excited to be there, and we always hear several staff members greet him by name with pets and treats. They care about his health, safety, and happiness as much as we do, and we love them for that.

Marley has been going to K-9 Playtime since 2010.  He was 3 years old at the time and I was looking for a safe, clean environment for Marley to spend his day while I was at work.  He would play all day in his younger years and come home happy and tired (a tired puppy is a happy puppy).  Ten years later and Marley still loves K-9 Playtime.  Now he’s an old guy and just likes hanging with everyone – he’s exhausted because he stays awake all day. The team members have taken such good care of him throughout the years.  I love all the activities they do – back to school pictures, mother’s day cards etc.  It makes it feel like a family and they treat him like their own.  I would recommend K-9 Playtime to everyone.  They are the best!

I have been taking my pup Lyra to K-9 Playtime for just under 5 years now, and I can’t imagine taking her anywhere else.  I’ve followed K-9 Playtime from their original location to their current and I wouldn’t hesitate to drive further away again to keep taking Lyra to her beloved daycare.  The word “daycare” itself has become a trigger word to Lyra just like “food” and “treat;” every time I say it she goes and stands right by the door waiting to jump in the car.  On the way to daycare, I can’t remember her ever sitting down.  And on the way home, I can’t remember her staying up for more than a few seconds.  Needless to say, evenings after daycare are for rest and relaxation. The staff at K-9 Playtime are top notch as well.  It’s comforting to walk in the front door with Lyra to see all the handlers know exactly who she is.  Same goes for manager Jack recognizing the owners and knowing their dogs when it comes time for pick up.  The pictures they post of the dogs on social media throughout the day are a great bonus too.  I look forward to seeing the additional renovations K-9 Playtime will soon put in place.  Between the staff, location, amenities, and of course, my dog’s excitement, I wish the best for this establishment and hope they stay in business for a very long time.

Watching our dogs run up to the K-9 Playtime staff is truly one of the best parts of my morning – they press right in with wagging tails and big smiles, and if they don’t see the staff right away, they run around the desk to go look for them.  Spending a day at K-9 Playtime guarantees a great day and a contented evening – we bring them every time we know we’ll be away in the evenings, and then sometimes just because it’s been a few days and they stand at the door when we leave looking so excited and hopeful!  The staff know their personalities and their favorite places to be scratched.  They’ve shared pictures, asked about them when they were sick, and gotten them blankets to lie down on when they were ready for a rest.  It’s great to be able to bring our dogs anytime without needing to have known ahead – it makes taking care of our dogs flexible and fits with days that are sometimes unpredictable.  The facilities and office management processes are all designed around making a great experience for the dogs and just keep improving.  Mostly, the staff are nothing short of amazing – thank you for all of the love and happiness you give to our pups!

K-9 Playtime is part of our family. I love seeing Rory’s and Ky’s reactions when we tell them they’re going there to play with all their friends. The experienced and knowledgeable staff has cared for our dogs for 10 years. In that time, the staff has gone over and above to treat Rory and Ky with love and compassion.

There’s no better place than K-9 Playtime!!!

Our 4 year old retriever mix, Millie, has been attending daycare and boarding at K-9 Playtime since she was 6 months old. We cannot rave enough about them. Millie can barely control her excitement when she realizes its a daycare day. She literally hops up and down waiting to get in the car and get there to have fun with her friends.

As for us, her parents, I know she is in wonderful, safe and loving hands while she is at K-9 Playtime.  Whenever we pick her up we are always told how much she is loved and what a sweet girl she is. If we can’t love on her and be with her all day then I’m thankful that she is with people that love her as well.

My favorite part though may be the pictures posted on Facebook. It is so fun to not only see our girl but all the other dogs that are having a good time.

Our Emmitt loves K-9 Playtime, probably more than us – but it’s close!

My wife likes their hours, flexible drop off and pick-up scheduling and the way they all seem to treat EVERY dog with love and affection. We travel frequently, Emmitt probably boards with K-9 Playtime about 6 weeks per year. Services are reasonably priced – ½ and Full days, boarding, reliable and efficient accounting practices, wonderful Social Media posts with pictures of the day’s events. Jen and Jack and EVERYONE are always welcoming and kind. Emmitt really enjoys his time there, so much so that he almost seems depressed when we pick him up or when he hasn’t visited recently….

I honestly can’t think of a single negative. We love K-9 Playtime!

K-9 Playtime is the best thing about our day! We got our dog almost 2 years ago, and started bringing him to daycare 3 times a week.  It has helped our dog socialize and tire him out (to let us rest better at night!).  Bock knows the route to daycare, and will whine if there are too many stoplights on the way there. He LOVES his friends at daycare; both canine & human! We also love all the staff members, they know each dog’s personality & know how to handle them.  The photo updates during the day are great.

We have boarded our dog there many times too, and completely trust leaving him there for multiples nights at a time.  We know he is getting the best care and not just crated like he may be at a kennel.  It’s great they’re open 7 days a week for daycare, so we can always drop him off if we have other things planned on a weekend.  I have recommended K-9 Playtime to many people and will continue to do so!

The best doggy daycare in the world. They really love dogs and it shows. The open spaces, outdoor play area , numerous couches for doggies and dedicated staff all equal a wonderful place for your dog to be.
